CAMP with Kids
For Frontline Workers engaging with kids
or Parents & Caregivers looking for support.

CAMP is a systematic framework to assess the needs behind the behaviour.
Designed to help frontline professionals, educators, and caregivers strengthen relationships with the children and youth they support—whether in classrooms, clinics, or your own home.
By understanding what drives behaviour and learning to meet emotional needs before they escalate, you can create calmer, more connected environments where both you and the kids you support can thrive.
Contact us today to bring the step-by-step CAMP approach to your team, classroom, or home—and build lasting resilience, motivation, and connection for everyone involved.
We can’t help children—or ourselves—until we understand the roots of behaviour: unmet needs.
Whether you’re a teacher, youth worker, counsellor, or parent, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by constant challenges. Burnout is rising across classrooms, homes, and community spaces—and most support only arrives once stress has already peaked.
CAMP is different. It gives you the tools to recognize what’s really going on beneath the surface, so you can respond with calm, confidence, and connection—before things fall apart.
C-A-M-P:
C-A-M-P is the framework you’re looking for. Developed over years of teaching, counselling, and clinical practice, backed by neuroscience.
It builds motivation and resilience by meeting belonging needs, so children and adults alike can rise to any challenge. CAMP is the proactive work.
It’s what I wish every youth professional, family, school system had in place.
It’s how we build inner strength and outer support.

Uplift Association - Tabitha Simson
"CAMP takes what my heart knows to be true and presents it in an actionable way. The focus on Connection, Control and Purpose as its foundation gives a grounding, simplified, and sequential way to look at behaviour and mental health, cohesively! What a treasure! I am celebrating the creation of CAMP as a parent, practitioner, and human being, it feels like just what the world needs right now. Thank you Dayna for creating something so accessible, for your hard work and research, and for your bravery in bringing this to our community! I can't wait for people to become familiar with this refreshing take on challenging behaviour and what we can all do to support youth, and ourselves, in this way."

I really enjoyed the CAMP workshop with Dayna. She was able to clearly outline her CAMP approach to working with children and youth. I think this framework is comprehensive and can really impact how we approach challenging behaviors from a mental health perspective. I love that Dayna believes the child can help find solutions and that intrinsic motivation is an important part of the framework. I work mainly with early years families and I am a parent so I can use this approach in both my professional and personal life.

“I can not express how useful and valuable your training has been. I have personally already implemented a lot of ideas and concepts from CAMP”
The Science Behind CAMP:
Grounded in Neuroscience. Informed by Real Life.
CAMP is built on the idea that everyone—kids and adults—does better when they feel safe, calm, and connected.
When we feel like we belong, our brains can think clearly, solve problems, and make good choices.
That’s what belonging science tells us: when our needs are met, we can focus, learn, and grow.
Why It Works:
Resilience isn’t built by accident—it’s developed through intentional practices that restore energy, motivation, and purpose. The C-A-M-P framework is based on proven neuroscience and professional experience, giving individuals the tools they need to build inner strength, prevent burnout, and respond to life’s challenges with calm, confidence, and clarity.
When kids and grown-ups both feel “full from within,” they have the energy and confidence to face whatever comes next—without running on empty.
CAMP helps prevent meltdowns, rebuilds trust, and strengthens the calm that makes real growth possible.
CAMP is proactive.
CAMP prevents crisis.
CAMP is how you become full from within.
