Why We Created CAMP (and the Real Problem It Solves)
Everywhere I go lately, I hear the same story told in three different ways.
Parents talk about kids who seem unmotivated, anxious, or checked out.
Adults tell me they’re tired, running on empty, and can’t seem to find their spark again.
Employers describe staff who are stretched thin and struggling to stay engaged.
Different stories, same root problem: we’ve been trying to solve performance issues, when what’s really missing is belonging.
At CAMP, we’ve learned that motivation and resilience aren’t traits we’re born with — they’re states that become possible when our three core belonging needs are met:
🗝️ Connection – feeling seen, safe, and valued
🗝️ Autonomy – having voice and choice
🗝️ Purpose – knowing what we do matters
When those needs go unmet, kids act out or shut down. Adults burn out. Teams lose focus.
✨ But when those needs are met?
Kids learn, engage, and grow.
Adults find energy and joy again.
Workplaces become calmer, more productive, and more human.
That’s what CAMP is all about — a simple, evidence-based framework that helps people and organizations move from disconnection to motivation by meeting those three belonging needs.
Whether you’re a parent, a professional, or a leader — the goal is the same: to feel full from within, so we can lead, work, and live from a place of calm confidence and clarity.
If this message hits home for you, reply and tell me where you’re noticing belonging gaps — in your family, yourself, or your workplace.
That’s the starting point for change.
